… and over the next few years, Rob and I hope to visit all of them. Sometimes it’ll just be to pop in for a quiet pint. Others will be done as part of a drinking run (3 in one night?). But hopefully we can visit all of them. Even the far away old man pubs with no tv. Should be culturally interesting, if nothing else.

At the bottom of this post is a graphic of all the pubs as they’re laid out over Cambridge. But we’ll just use the list to cross them off. As we visit them, we’ll link the name to the blog post with the pictures.

Update: As of May 2014, there are now 81 pubs, not 92!

To Do

  • Carlton Arms
  • Carpenters Arms
  • Milton Arms
  • Rose & Crown
  • Rupert Brooke

  • The Bakers Yard
  • The Grapes
  • The Med
  • The Maypole
  • The Panton Arms
  • The Rat and Parrot
  • The Ship
  • The Slug and Lettuce

Done

And here’s the image map of all the pubs. This is an updated version of the image from the Cambridge Pub Guide website. Their map is interactive and everything but dated from 2002.

So long as I can still fit into my jeans, I think this is a good plan. It’ll also be nice to have a reason to visit all parts of Cambridge, exploring and all the rest.

    1. I hope it’ll drive us to visit more areas of Cambridge. There were parts of Melbourne we *never* went too. Perhaps that’s not a bad thing, but it feels like it’s something that should be done to get to know a place wholey.

I should really make a list of all the tourist attractions I want to see too. Hmmm…
