While Dad and Mum (aka Barry and Helen) were visiting Cambridge we went and saw the Imperial War Museum in Duxford. The place is a massive complex – it used to be an Air force base. The museum has planes, cars, artillery and guns from most of the wars Britain was involved with. There was also a whole building dedicated to The Blitz, which was very interesting. So a few weeks ago mum and dad came to visit and they brought us some prezzies from back home. A few weeks ago, Rob and I got a big treat. We had *2* sets of cousins come visit us in a weekend. We were stoked! My cousins Ngarino and Nepia visited first on Saturday. They were over in Europe for a couple of weeks visiting museums and 2 meeting houses (whare nui). We took them around Cambridge, including into Trinity College below. We’ve had a full season of both soccer and hockey. We’ve gotten to know a bunch of great people and filled many of our weekends. Good points all round. It was also great that we got to have a run around and not turn into beer drinking slugs at the local pub. We’ve only got 1 or 2 games left for the season. My team is in mid-table obsurity. There’s this famous street graffiti artist who makes his graffiti out of ceramic tiles. It makes his work quite distinctive and its often photographed and recorded. We haven’t seen any yet, though there is some around London. We were inspired by his work, this artist called Invader, and decided to emulate his style in a mundane application – clocks.
