One of the key things Rob was looking forward to about going to NZ was kitesurfing with his brother. The winds in Melbourne are great for kitesurfing, but its always better if you’ve got a buddy to go with. The boys went out both at Pt Chevalier and at Snell’s Beach. I’ve been slack. You see, I missed some posts. Important posts too. After we left Melbourne, and before we flew to London, we were in New Zealand. For 3 whole weeks. And I haven’t posted anything about it at all! Hopeless, yea? So, we were in NZ, which was wonderful. We got to see our family and friends. So, I went back to NZ for a brief 3 1/2 days. It was a great 3 1/2 days though. Got to catch up some friends, and went out every night, and generally had a great time. So thanks to everyone who helped make it all fun, and sorry to the guys who I didn’t catch up with this time. So,

Kia ora! Being in NZ was great, so thanks to everyone we spent time with for making it an enjoyable trip home. Oh, and a great thumbs up for Mum’s cooking. :) So, Armageddon in Wellington was great. All in all, being back in NZ was brilliant. So, in brief, flew into Auckland on Christmas Eve, and slept in my old bed at home (thought now its a bright pink and orange… ), but was lovely, squishy and familiar. Christmas was busy, as always. Got a haul of gifts (Star Trek Orginal Series DVD box set, tshirt, singlet, jewellery, tote bag, etc). Had Christmas lunch at home, then went to Snell’s Beach for Christmas dinner with Rob’s family.
